Gayle Gale was creatively and passionately inspired to produce her collages while conducting mural workshops with the homeless children of Bahia, Brazil. She penetrated the secret world hidden within the Brazilian subculture and, in her words was "…transported to a mystical world filled with a rich folk culture." Gale’s Giclee images are a limited edition of fine arts prints emerging from a series of multi-media book collages produced in Brazil, 1999.
